Dr. Seema Sharma says “Vision : My vision is to help people of all ages especially growing and young to understand and recognize innate potential to achieve personal and professional excellence in all stratus of life. I, Dr. Seema Sharma, Clinical cum Counseling Psychologist and head of YIPS (Young India Psychological Solutions) have more than 16 years of experience in various fields of psychology and have worked for different organizations like NGOs, hospitals and school setups. I conduct individual as well as group counseling sessions for diverse population.

As levels of stress, anxiety and conflicts is continuously increasing among all stats of society, so all the sessions are designed to meet the needs of different individuals and groups. The sessions are focused on academic difficulties, I.Q, memory attitude and aptitude related issues. Another dimension covers the behavioral problems, identity crisis and parent – child relationship conflicts, among children.

Apart from this understanding and treating depression among women is another area of great interest to me and to my organization, YIPS. Sometimes women feel lonely, hopeless and helpless to overcome these feelings and showing them brightened part of life is a major concern of our center.

I have completed my Ph.D. from Punjab University Chandigarh, with specialization in Clinical cum Counseling Psychology and have learnt psychometric and psycho diagnostic testing under the supervision of experts from P.G.I. Chandigarh.

I am well versed in applying all the therapies either its psychotherapy, behavior therapy or client centered therapy and doing testing as per the demands of the situations and requirements of the individuals and groups. But, I am inclined towards client centered therapy, where proper space is provided to all the clients to express their feelings. I believe that by instilling a ray of hope we can alter the distorted thought process of the individual and can help them to restore a happy and healthy life again
